I now understand the significant of girl-child education

“I am a 39 years old and a mother of nine (9). Prior to this intervention, I did not believe that girl child education had any meaning, so, I married off my first three (3) daughters without sending them to school. But with this intervention, I now understand the significant of girl-child education which has made me enrolled my younger daughter in school”.

High rate of drug addiction

“There used to be high rate of drug addiction in this community. And the drug addicts are the main perpetrators of sexual violence. Through this intervention, we educated our youths about the dangers and implications of drug addictions and the consequences of sexual violence. These same youths has now being transformed into peace advocates in the community”

Early marriage

GPD neither condones nor tolerates behavior that undermines the dignity or self-esteem of any individual or creates an intimidating, hostile, abusive, or offensive environment.

GPD activities are conducted in line with the legitimate financial rules and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and which contribute to sustainable development.

GPD values its relationships with its clients, members, donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders who partner to enable it to achieve its purpose. It recognizes that transparency and accountability build trust and help those relationships to flourish.

GPD believes in strategic partnerships between the organization and stakeholders such as government agencies, community groups, private sector actors, and other nonprofits to pool resources, expand reach, and strengthen impact to achieve shared goals.
