Global Peace Development joined key stakeholders at the CRF Loan Signing Event held in Damaturu, Yobe State, to support 101 community groups across Damaturu, Potiskum, and Gashua with interest-free loans aimed at boosting climate-smart livelihoods.
Each group is set to receive $25,000 USD upon submission of a clear business plan and farmer profile. Mr. Usman Muhammed Umar, CRF Desk Officer, provided a detailed breakdown of the loan structure and requirements. Barr. L.B Adamu also clarified the legal obligations, stressing the importance of timely repayment under the revolving loan model.

The event, supported by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Bank through the ACReSAL project, ended with a symbolic signing ceremony and closing remarks from dignitaries and partners.
